There are new year’s resolutions and then there are the resolutions made by reality TV star Stephen Bear.
The bad boy that won Celebrity Big Brother a couple of years ago, has decided to push ahead with his desire for children, despite ‘not meeting the right girl’.
The Ex on the Beach star has had a string of relationships, with many being marred by his alleged infidelity.
He has dated a number of fellow reality stars from Charlotte Crosby to Jemma Lucy, with many of these couplings coming to an end among accusations of Bear cheating.
Bear has said that he hasn’t ‘met a girl that’s worked out for him’ but he is looking to take decisive action for his future.
Speaking to his 1.2 million followers through his Instagram story, Bear revealed that he was thinking of adopting twins.
The 28-year-old then corrected himself and said that he would actually like to take on triplets, as he looks to change his reputation.
This comes after a few weeks, in which he split from Ellie O’Donnell before having a brief dalliance with Love Island’s Georgia Harrison.
What is for sure, Bear has every confidence in himself being the best father a child could want.
In his Instagram video, Bear said: “I’ve been feeling pretty broody lately and every girl I’ve met hasn’t worked out.
“I’m thinking about adopting twins, I think I’d be a great dad.”
He added: “Even if I was to go out, I’m sure there’s people who wouldn’t mind coming round here and looking after them if I went out for a few drinks – so I think I’m going to look into it.”
Bear had revealed previously that he was looking forward to fatherhood and, when dating Charlotte Crosby, had been confident that the pair would become parents.
Now he is shunning having a partner and is looking to go it alone and after looking into adoption, he posted on Instagram: “Change of plans. I’m gonna adopt triplets. In the New Year, I’m going to have three boys, who’s excited?”
When together with Charlotte, she said that they would like children by the time they were 30 and had said that they, “always talk about children.”
At the time though, they were both busy with their TV careers and eventually they grew apart.
Bear has got the bit between his teeth now and the new year could be filled with the sound of little Bear cubs.
